Looking for a little advice.   I Lost my queen this summer and hive re-queened so nice brood break but minimal stores.
Medium 1 and 2 Currently Have lots of capped and uncapped brood minimal pollen (2 partial frames)
3rd medium is about 2/3 full of honey with 8/10 frames drawn out.
4th medium has about 3-4 frames partially drawn.
Looked like I have a lot of activity in front of hive- maybe newbees. Saw this frame in box 2. (See photo)

- are these drone cells that didn’t hatch or supercede cells.
- doesn’t look like I will get honey. should I start fall feeding? Including pollen or just fall syrup?

Thanks for any help you can provide. Also if anyone doesn’t mind letting me text random questions/bee photos - let me know. Sometimes realtime I am perplexed with what I am seeing.

Best,
Kerry

Yes, drone cells.

Don't feed yet, still have plenty of nectar out there.

If you're running all mediums, they only need three to winter successfully. So, remove the fourth hive body at this time.  I run all mediums and they don't need 4, they need to be concentrating on the lower three. Have you treated them? If you haven't you should treat now, before your queen starts making winter bees.
