Queen Bees

Hello- 

Does anyone have a need for some queen bees? I have 3 buckfast queens which were intended for splits. Unfortunately a bear decimated my winter survivors and these splits are no longer possible. I live in Poynette.

If you don’t find a home for them right away, as long as they have attendant bees and some candy left in the cage you can give them a couple drops of water every day and keep them going for a while.

I have colonies that could be split, but I’m out of town for the next two weeks.  It might be a stretch to keep them that long, but I’ve done it.

I wanted to provide an update that all three queens have a home! Thank you to everyone who reached out, I’m relieved they will be given a colony of their own.
