Dear Group,

There is a historic building on Sommers Ave on the east side of Madison.  Under the double-wide eaves, at the edge of the roof over 2 stories high, are 4 or 5 combs from past seasons, which are now inhabited by a swarm of bees!  A swarm about the size of a basketball.

Since the owner is interested in conservation, he is willing to rent scaffolding or a cherry-picker, enabling a beekeeper to climb up there, remove the bees and combs, and give them a good home.

If interested, contact:
Dave Koehler
2709 Sommers Ave.
Madison

Please let the group know if you are calling him.

Beekeeping is fun!

I can reach out to them and see what can be done with the bees.
