Beware of the 5 gallon food grade buckets from menards. I found 3 brand new ones that I bought last year had cracked in the bottom (likely freeze/thaw cycles as they were stored in a garage). I will not trust these for honey use and the potential for 60 lbs of sticky mess.20220807_130950.jpg

Get the ones from ULINE. They are LETICA BRAND, made in Rochester MN. Quality does not cost more, it pays to buy QUALITY

Got 6 from Festival Foods for free. Ask at any grocery store with a deli. They use them for things like potato salad.

I just wanted to provide an update. I contacted the bucket manufacturers (century containers), explained the situation with pictures,  and they promptly shipped me out three new buckets free of charge. Good to see good folks that stand by their products.
