Double bill! This month in the Graphic Novel Group we are discussing 2
very interesting graphic novels.

We3 by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely

Pride of Bagdad by Brian K
Vaughan & Niko Henrichon

Following last months Doom Patrol weirdness we are once again coming
back to Grant Morrison but with a very different type of story, this
short tale of prototype “animal weapons” is violent and sweet all at
once. To compare we chose Pride of Bagdad an award winning graphic
novel about a small pride of lions that escape after an American
bombing in 2003. With common themes of war, freedom and animal rights
this should make for a very interesting night.
The advocate for this session shall be Omar Johnson (@ThreeFourNine)
