For our November graphic novel group we are going to read the award winning Persepolis and in its honour, we are also going to have a FILM NIGHT!!! But first to the book...
The graphic novel itself is an autobiography by Marjane Satrapi. Her story depicts her early adult years in Iran during and after the Islamic revolution. wn in black and white by the writer herself and has had great popularity, translated into several languages from its original French Language form.
We ask the usual donation be made to the Madlab (recommended £2) but we also do our usual food run so bring along money for that if you guys are interested
