As someone that loves being on this list but that is very busy like most on this list, may I ask that messages that don't pertain to everyone please be sent directly to the recipient rather than through the list? Many of you are very courteous and already do this but many of you copy the entire list on details of pick-up, purchases, etc. that no one else needs.

Just a kind request. Have a wonderful spring!

Thank you.
Walker

I agree with Walker, and with this list, unfortunately, when you hit REPLY ALL, you only get the madcitychickens group e-mail, so you actually have to cut and paste the sender's address if you want to send something to them directly.
Other groups I am on are set up so that if you hit REPLY ALL you get the sender as well as the group in the "send to" field, so you can simply delete the group. I wonder if this one could be changed to that sort of thing? It would make replying to the sender only much more user friendly!

I concur, this is usually the best way to configure a group like this.  If you want to reply to the whole group, you do reply all, otherwise your reply goes to the sender.  For posts that are queries/polls, et, the sender can compile responses and post them, rather than make everyone read all the replies.  Some conversations are good to include the whole group in, but may are fairly trivial or of personal interest only.
