We just got our first chicks, and one named Helma has swelling mostly below the eye, which she can barely open. It might be painful to open because she quickly closes it. Helma also has a scissor beak, but appears to be drinking and eating fine. We're worried the other chicks might be pecking the eye, so we separated her. Any advice to help her thrive? A picture of her eye is attached.
