Dear MaCVi Organizers,

Thank you for the update on the timeline.

I am currently participating in the Thermal Object Detection Challenge and have been actively submitting results on the leaderboard. I have a few questions regarding the requirements:

1. Paper submission: Is submitting a paper on OpenReview required to be eligible for the challenge prizes (e.g., NVIDIA RTX 5080), or is the leaderboard ranking alone sufficient?

2. If a paper is required: What is the format and page limit? (e.g., CVPR workshop format, 4-8 pages?)

3. Final ranking: Is the winner determined by the final leaderboard standing on March 15, or is there any additional evaluation process?

I want to make sure I don't miss any required steps before the deadline, thanks.

Best Regards
Sean

Hi Sean,

I'm sorry I missed checking the group on the weekend.
1. No paper is required, we do however require the best three entries (clustered by authors and models) to submit a short technical report detailing your solution. (I will e-mail you regarding this.)
2. -
3. Yes, the leaderboard as of March 15 is the basis for determining the winner. However, also for this we require the technical report.

Best regards,
Lukas
