Hey MACURH!

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to send out an update of upcoming dates and important information as we continue to near the MACURH 2010 Regional Conference at Missouri State University.

MACURH 2010 Late Registration

Late registration for MACURH 2010 ends tonight! If you have not registered your delegation or alternates by tonight at midnight, you will not be able to attend the MACURH 2010 Regional Conference. Please make sure that you have registered your entire delegation and are beginning to make the proper accomodations to have a full delegation at the upcoming conference. You can access the online registration form at http://rha.missouristate.edu/macurh/registeronline.html. The password is "sgf50". You will need this to initially log in to the registration process.

Affiliation

Now that the assembly of your delegations is mostly complete and you are all set to come on down to Missouri State University, it is time to begin finalizing your affiliation documents so that you are granted voting rights during the regional conference. If anyone is not fully affiliated by conference time, your institution will not be able to vote during any of the boardroom meetings. Also, we are experiencing a little bit of lag time between the instance in which individuals have submitted documents, and the time in which they are available for review by the NIC and ourselves. Thus, it is important that you are submitting all of your proper materials and monies promptly as it may take a little time to finalize all affiliation statuses. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact your RCC of Recruitment and Retention, Tamera Dunn at ma_recr...@nacurh.org.

Committee Application Deadline Approaching

As you all know, due to the low inflow of applications, I had decided to extend the application process for committee membership until this Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:59:59 PM. There are four committees available for you to sit on including Legislation and Development, Recognition, Programming, and Sustainability. This is a great way to get more involved within the MACURH organization. All applications are due to your Associate Director of Finance and Records, Alex Debner at ma_...@nacurh.org. The applications for committees are attached.

Regional Co-Advisor Bids, Award Bids and Legislation

Regional Co-Advisor Bids, Award Bids and Legislation are all due this upcoming Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:59:59 PM Central Standard Time. Any affiliated institution can bid for any of the available regional awards as long as you are following the required criteria for the award bid and the format outlined in the attached bid guide. Furthermore, legislation proposals will be due to me on Friday evening as well. If you have any ideas, but are unsure as to how to format legislation, please contact me directly and I will happily assist you in this endeavor. I have attached a "how-to" guide for legislation to this e-mail as well. Awards are due to macurh...@gmail.com in PDF format.

MACURH 2011 Bids

The MACURH 2011 Conference bids will be due to macurh...@gmail.com on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:59:59 PM. Bids will not be accepted if they do not meet the guidelines outlined in the MACURH Policy Book. If you have any questions on putting the bid together or the bid presentation, please contact myself or the current MACURH 2010 Conference Chair, Jon Stubblefield directly.

Four Year Pin Applications

Four Year Pin Applications are to be sent to me post-marked no later than Friday, October 22, 2010. You will be receiving an e-mail confirmation upon my receipt of your applications. You can find the required criteria to receive a Four Year Pin in the MACURH Policy Book, otherwise, you will find the application attached to this e-mail. If you have any questions on any of this please contact me and I will help you through this application process. Four Year Pin Applications will be due via postal mail and are to be sent to my address at the following location:

Apply for MACURH 2010 Program Presentations

For those of you who have attended conferences in the past, you are well aware that program presentations are some of the most essential and beneficial aspects of the regional conference experience. If you have any amazing programs at your respective institutions that you want to share with the rest of the region, please take the opportunity to register a program at the conference website. You can access the program applications at the following URL: http://rha.missouristate.edu/macurh/registeronline.html. Program applications will be due on October 15, 2010 at 11:59:59 PM. If you have any questions on this, please contact the MACURH 2010 Conference Chair, Jon Stubblefield at ma_reg...@nacurh.org.

Well, this is most of the information I have for now! If you have any questions on any of this, please contact me via mobile phone at (402) 250-3701 or e-mail.
