No Frills Due Dates
The due dates for No Frills business are as follows:
January 28, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM: All award bids (except Commitment to Sustainability), legislation proposals, and agenda topics/issues for NCC Boardroom
February 4, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM: All positional bids, conference bids, and AAFN nominations due (see below for details regarding AAFN). Also, the Commitment to Sustainability Award will be due on this date.

Association of Alumni and Friends of NACURH (AAFN)
In January, 1982, the NACURH National Board of Directors (NBD) approved a resolution authorizing a NACURH alumni association. This resolution was designed to introduce the“Association of Alumni and Friends of NACURH (AAFN)” to the general membership.
Every year, the Midwest Affiliate inducts three total members to the AAFN, one being the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award (DSA). This is a nomination process that is coordinated by the Regional Board of Directors, but left ultimately up to the institutions within our region to decide. Thus, I will be opening nominations to the entire region. In order to nominate an individual to be considered for induction into the AAFN, we ask that you submit the individuals name, host institution, position, and a 5-10 sentence paragraph as to why you feel this individual ought to be inducted on behalf of the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (MACURH). Although, I am sure there are many individuals that are worthy of being inducted, I ask that you be mindful that we are inducting individuals on behalf of our entire region. When submitted any nominees, I ask that you consider their involvement and contributions to our region as a whole.
The National Communication Coordinators will be voting on the final inductees during boardroom at No Frills 2011. If you have any questions, please contact me atma_di...@nacurh.org. All nominations will be due by Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM. Again, please include the name, host institution, campus position, and a 5-10 sentence paragraph as to why they should receive this induction. Advisors and students are eligible.
