@Riffman81 Much appreciated for the templates. I have mild photoshop skills so the CD cover overlay will go a long way on making it easier on me. I cannot thank you enough for these and the video snaps as well!

If anyone happens to make any covers for hacks of MSU1 games (Hyper Street Kart, LOZ: Parallel Worlds, etc) feel free to post them here in the thread and I'll add them to the set with credit given if any of you want to contribute. I'd like to do Disc art for these games next so stay tuned for that.

@Riffman81 What do you think on these? I added the stripe element on the bottom as the cover graphics on these game covers it did not look right stretched to fit in the space allowed. On Conkers you can see the difference. If you want to keep them more unified with what you have created let me know and I can drop the stripe and refit the image more full screen.

I found the original artwork for the cover. The colors are different as the creator of the box for the rom hack said he altered the original colors to suit his theme. I like the original colors so kept it and brightened the Metroid text.

Unfortunately because SNES box art is widescreen and these are not. Have to take some allowances to work within constraints. Not taken from directly from a Hyperspin set simply taken from searched images. I can create a less squished image, but then I would have to cut off more of the image or have it presented in a smaller portion of the overall canvas.

A couple more. I made these pretty much in similar style to the others I posted. If anyone is using these and has Riffman81's set if you prefer the ones I made more fullscreen art detail like Riff's let me know and I will redo mine. I am learning photoshop so that gives me more chances to practice the software.

Looks like Dracula X is next. Also it seems that Smoke Monster is no longer uploading them to his Google drive so now people will have to patch their own roms and download the music packs from Zeldix -msu-1-hacking

Yes, thanks a ton! I will be doing a new update here tonight or tomorrow with all the new covers, video snaps, and all other media. I'm going to make everything available here in the download section

I also went back and made my own versions of covers that I originally had not done because I was using NahuelDS' covers. His covers are not uploaded to my Google drive at all so if you prefer to use his you will have to go back further in this thread and grab them.

I really cannot take any credit for any of them since I am just taking art found using Google Images, thankfully for most games there is plenty of great art to choose from. Some games though have a lousy selection of art work out there to use and those are actually the more pain in the ass ones, those take the most time to do since I have to really dig for something usable. So far the most annoying ones have been the Top Gear games, there is little to no fan art for them and anything there is out there is not really usable so that is why they are just using modified box art.

Box art/Cover Pack for the SNES MSU1 platform. 41 games in total with more being added often. Still snaps (Game Play and Title) and clear logos, system background images and clear logos included! Check back for updates as more MSU1 games are released.

I'm going to go ahead and make this the official thread for this set as it will be updated often. If someone has all of the MSU-1 releases could you please list the ones that we still need cover art for? I've been having trouble finding the music files for some of these, and on TMNT 4 the emulator patch corrupts the ROM and only the SD2SNES patch will run but the volume is extremely loud However, if a list can be made of what is still needed, I'll get to making the remaining covers right away! There will be two different versions of these covers to choose from. Your standard 2D and a "cased" 3D-ish variant as pictured:

I also plan on doing proper video snaps for these games and will upload them to my folder on the EmuMovies FTP and possibly here with this cover pack as well so people can have easy access to them I'll let everyone know when they are available.

Yes sir! I'll be doing proper video snaps for these as well as box art, still snaps, logos, etc... the goal is to get a complete set of media/art for all of these titles after that, I'll be getting back to recording those HyperSpin themes I've been distracted away from. It's difficult keeping up with those as new themes are made all the time. I'll possibly be doing themes for some of these as well so stay tuned!

Death and Return of Superman has been released, yeah it's an odd choice but it's done. Super Ghouls N Ghosts got 2 releases now, one is an OST and it sounds amazing. Contra III has been done as well but not uploaded pre patched yet. Secret of Evermore is a WIP, not sure when we will be seeing it.

Thanks, I'll look for Death and Return of Superman tonight and see about getting Contra III. Alternate releases/variants I'm not concerned with as I just use the same cover for variants and typically I just get the version with the OST I like the best. WIP's I wont be doing covers for until I see a actual release. I've been waiting for Secret of Evermore Thanks for the update @lordmonkus

Ok everyone, the next update will be more polished so anyone who downloaded the previous packs will want to delete those and grab the new ones (once uploaded) as I've changed my design slightly... again The pack will have your standard 2D covers and (what I like to call) "retail" versions which can be seen below. I will also include clear logos and still snaps as well. I don't plan on doing covers for hacks but rather just the core/original games as to keep this set more consistent. An example of this would be Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, I'll be sticking to the original game and not Parallel Worlds, DX, Goddess, etc... even though MSU1 versions do exist for those hacks. I may include a template for others to make covers for those if desired but as of now, I have no plans to spend any time on those hunting art, etc. I want to tackle the video snaps for these ASAP.

Ok, I'll be making a cover for that one next Started doing proper video snaps for these today and I think I just might include them in the download package here upon next update. Here is Contra III and Death and Return of Superman. They will be included in the next update as well but you can grab them from here if needed as the next update wont be ready for a few days.

Hey y'all!
So I finally snagged myself an SNES Classic due to sheer luck, hacked the crap outta of it and added FE4 to the mix. Now I'm crazy and I want to make the PERFECT North American box art for FE4 to add to my mini SNES, but I'm having a hard time finding the perfect cover art to work with.
I started with the regular box artwork, but then I found pictures of the same art just less cropped. I'm wondering if anyone out there has or has at least seen the complete uncropped (or nearly uncropped) artwork at a high resolution?
These are what I've been finding, the 1st image is the closest to what I've been looking for, I'd just need it at a high resolution. But I noticed that there is even more to the image, because the calendar adds extra to the bottom (sadly by sacrificing the top).
So yeah, if anyone knows something that I don't I'd love to hear about it. I'm sure that there are more people looking for the complete artwork as well. Thanks everyone!

The upgrade from Linshell's design is that I added small bumps on the inside that align with the front screws on a cartridge and the dust covers now have a friction fit and will not just slide off. I tested with multiple depths until I found the perfect mix between not too loose and not too tight of a fit.
