WMU looks to make a run at the MAC Western Division title this year as they return everbody from last year's .500 team. Last year's OOC schedule was ranked the 4th toughest in the country and this year's has the potential to be just as difficult.
The season opens with three games in Eugene, OR. Pacific, Pepperdine, and the host school U of Oregon are the three oppponents.
From there, the Broncos travel to Chicago to play Loyola and then onto Detroit for the annual game agsint UD.
The home portion of the non-conf schedule commences the day before Thanksgiving with mid-major power Davidson. Then it's back on the road for Valpo and San Diego State. The Broncos welcome Northwestern and perennial NCAA tournament team Southern Illinois to University Arena later in December and round out that month with games at IUPUI and Iona.
North Carolina Central comes to Kalamazoo on Jan 2 and WMU will be on the road for Bracket Buster Saturday in late February.
