BG seems bruised, battered, yet still a better team than what Brandon put on the field.

Temple seems to be doing alright, but hasn't played the cream of the MAC.

CMU is legit.

EMU makes you fear for the programs continued existence.

Miami fans have to be gnawing their wrists.

Thoughts?

Talent aside - Miami's supporters should be livid about their schedule. This next game is just their second at home. (I know they played UK in Cincy). They finish with four of the next five in Oxford but one home game in all of September thru October 24th is insane. Heck, their first three MAC games though not in a row were all on the road.

The problem Saturday is that Delaware State went west and ended up in Ann Arbor instead of turning east at U.S. 23 and Washtenaw and going to Ypsilanti.

Al Lavan should have known better - he was the interim HC at EMU earlier this decade.

Delaware State players started talking trash, reminding UofM players of the Appy State game.

And UofM responded with a butt kicking of historic proportions.
EMU makes you fear for the programs continued existence.

Not only livid about the venues but the schedule. Miami plays the toughest schedule in the MAC. It's tough to have a winning season when you are playing the Big East; the SEC; the Big Ten, Boise State, etc. Two of Miami's opponents are ranked in the top 5. Tough schedule and lousy planning for home games. You're right.

I'll be curious to see how the MAC teams do in the bowl games.  At least CMU and the top end of the league seem able to give an honest fight, even win, so long as they aren't served as bait for a suffering major conference program.
