From an email I got by way of the UB email list.
"Sorry for the group e-mail folks. The Mid-American Conference is creating a strategic plan and are going to each MAC campus and meeting with local media to get their impressions of the conference.
You are cordially invited to meet with representatives of ISG, who are leading this strategic plan, on Thursday, October 17 at 3 pm here at Alumni Arena. If you would like to attend, please RSVP back to me for planning purposes. The meeting will last no more than one hour.
I hope that you can take the time to express your opinions about the conference, its place in Western New York and UB's role in it, as the MAC undergoes this process.

Sounds like they are working on trying to improve coverage and such. Wonder what took so long.
