When they had the Anderson Arena closing celebration, Nate sat in front
of me. His knees are totally shot and he looked in pain and that was
what, 5 years ago? They kept calling on him to go out to the court and
you just had to feel bad that our announcer or ad was so clueless.
He's in his 70's (born 1941)

A couple of months ago he was at a GS Warriors game and the sideline reporter interviewed him for tv during a timeout. He was in good spirits but looked pretty old and as if he were in pain.

I was at the last Anderson game (which technically isn't true, they played another tourney game at home.) Took some photos of him. It was the first time I had seen the man in person. Curiously I noticed a recent flurry of autographed BGSU legacy jerseys on eBay too. I personally picked-up a very nice, licensed throw-back jersey. Not 100% accurate but closer than any other I've seen, as compared to the Jimmy Darrow jersey in the Stroh Center. Wore it to a game last week. Cost all of $49 on eBay, very much a bargin.
