MAC misses two huge upsets this weekend

coming on the hands of a two point loss to Illinois by Miami, Kent State loses in 2OTs to the Cinderella team of the season, Butler.

 

I have been impressed by what I've seen of the MAC this year.  There has been a few bad games (WMU/WVU comes to mind) but overall the conference has been competitive.  The schedule has been challenging with a lot of tough teams.

 

Some praise for Central who was hanging with Cincy until hitting a cold spell late in the 1st half.

 

I'm not sure there are any really weak teams.  EMU and BGSU might be the bottom two.

 

CMU is a team I have a hard time judging.

 

MIA might be underrated.  They trailed KY by 1 with 2 minutes to go and then lost a 2-pointer to IL.  This is a nice team.
