How to cite MACS2

As the subject says, " How can I cite MACS2".

I have used MACS2 to call peaks and I have to cite in my manuscript.

Kindly let me know how can I credit the author of MACS2

Hi Abhishek,

Please cite the original MACS paper published in 2008 at this time, and just mention it's version 2. We are still working on a paper for MACS2. You can also specify the version you used as a link to "https://pypi.python.org/pypi/MACS2" such as 2.0.10.20130731 for <https://pypi.python.org/pypi/MACS2/2.0.10.20130731>.  I will also summarize MACS2 in this page in couple of days: <http://wiki.biomisc.org/MACS>.
