MACS2 parameters defition : --extsize, --shiftsize

Dear MACS users and developpers,

The --extsize option is currently not explained in the MACS2 manual, and as I couldn't find a clear statement on this, I'm asking here.

Would anyone confirm that the --extsize and --shiftsize parameters are treated equally by MACS2 considering that $extsize = 2*$shiftsize ?

In other words, 'macs2 callpeak --shiftsize 73' and 'macs2 callpeak --extsize 146' will give identical output ?
