I would like to make a dropdown menu. This menu should show names of all
images in a
predefined path. From this menu you should be able to pick any image and
have it opened as a window in my director movie (i use director7).

Can help me write the code so that i can just drop it in to a field as a
behaviour.

You should try this question in the Director Newsgroup. I don't think anyone
here will be able to help you unless they just happen to use D7 also.
