I've got xRes as part of Director Studio. I'm running on WIN NT 4.0,
service pack 3. I tried to run xRes and got access violation
(0xc0000005), Address: 0x01085142.

I uninstalled everything in the Director suite because extreme 3D was
also failing. I reinstalled from the Director setup. Director runs,
but I get the same error from xRes. Does anyone have a solution to
this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Drew, it sounds like the installation of the studio wasn't
successful. Do you have any virus protection program running in the
background? My suggestion is to uninstall the studio, defrag your
hard drive, and also download the latest video driver from the video
card manufacturer's web site.
Good luck.
