Browse sequences display *sometimes*

I can see the browse sequences on the .CHM file that shipped with our
previous software release.
I cannot however see the browse sequences on the .CHM file that I'm
generating now.

I checked, and hhactivex.dll is registered on my PC.

I'm using RH7 on Windows XP -- could it simply be an update to the DLL
that's not backwards compatible?

I've just started experimenting with context-sensitive help and
expanding text -- could either of those be triggering the problem?

Totally flummoxed.
