Double search results in Robohelp X5

Hi all,
I have several projects generating HTML help files.
Instead of generating it on my machine, checking into the version control repository - Development wants this automated.
They do this using the hh.exe compiler from HTML Workshop.
The curious thing is when the project sources are run using the hh compiler, double search results occur. One displays the topic, the other is displayed as a blank page.
When generated in Robohelp, no double search entries.
Does anyone know why hh would act differently from Robohelp?
I am stumped and would appreciate any suggestions!
