It's been awhile since I used Flash, and I am presently in need of converting a swf to an .avi format. Will Flash MX allow me to do this? I searched the help files & manual but came up empty.

Hi -
For questions such as this, the Macromedia Flash webforum should be helpful.
This webforum is for SWF binary file format questions.
I did find this documentation in Flash MX, so I think you're in luck:
The Export Movie command in Macromedia Flash MX lets you create content that
can be edited in other applications and export a movie directly into a single
format. For example, you can export an entire movie as a Flash movie; as a
series of bitmap images; as a single frame or image file; and as moving and
still images in various formats, including GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, PICT,
QuickTime, or AVI.
