I've got a new installation of version HomeSite 5, which works really well
except that I cannot get the Open File dialog box to go to the last directory I
opened. So EVERY single time I want to, say, get a graphic from a directory, I
have to double click my way down the path to reach the same directory I just
picked up a previous file from. It doesn't seem to matter whether I have
checked "Start in the folder last opened in the Files tab" or "Start in the
folder last opened in the file open dialog." The "Always start in this
folder" DOES work -- but that's not sufficient.

Is there somewhere else I need to change or check something to get the Open
File to always open in the directory I last opened?! (REALLY frustrating!)
Thanks, Elenor

Not sure if this will help - you can dock 2 panes for files. If I am working with a large site I will sometimes do the code work in #1 open an images directory in #2.

Hope that helps!
