OUTLINE BOXES WHERE TEXT SHOULD BE IN BROWSER???

When i open my web page in the browser an outline box aflashes up/appears
where text should be for a split second before the correct image appears.
This outline box has a small square with cross in the top left hand corner.
This happens mainly with flash text. Can any body tell me why this happens
please and if how i can stop it happening. With thanks . Matty Rowley
