This is a free market ecconomy (well, it is where I live).
People can charge WHAT THEY LIKE for work.
If you (the original poster of this thread) can get £200 per hour, then
fine. People who are just starting out cannot.
If you beleive your work is of a higher quality than these 'hobbyists'
then people will be prepared to pay more right?
If it is not then you need to drop your prices, not criticise those who
can do equal work for less money!
There is a lot of snobbery on this(these) forum(s), and while I agree
that questions like "how do you make buttons" should not be posted here
(it's in the help files), I find your lack of respect for what could
well be up and coming flash geniuses(or geneii - you pick)
disappointing.
What I take offence at are all the flash sites that try to emulate TV,
with full sound tracks and very TVesque editting etc..
This is a new medium, please treat it as such, stop being lazy and start
exploiting and exploring what Flash can do which TV cannot (which is a
lot) rather than trying to copy TV.
The same thing happened when the camera was invented, photography
emulated painting for years, let's not take so long this time eh?
READ MY POST BEFORE STARTING ANOTHER THREAD!!. Sorry, I hate caps to, but
seems the only way to get some people to actually read stuff........
