Fontographer 4.1 (Windows XP) an Error -30202 "... Not enough memory ..."

There are lots of discussion about this problem and all say the same:
It doesn't really work with XP.

I read all the fontlab
(http://fontlab.com/Fontographer/Fontographer/Fontographer-Support-and-Future/#win),
user comments and tech notes (like #15709), but nothing was working.
Some other designers tried to handle this problem via the filesize
change of pagefile.sys or installing under Windows save mode. And some
are using an old computer only for this reason.

I solved the problem now defining the the file size of pagefile.sys to
0 kB (or no page file). So the program started and run now. But without
page file all the other Adobe tools are not really stable working. So I
have to change and restart when I want to work with Fontographer. Not
really nice but tolerable.
