I'm having the flash 8 player installed on my sytem. Could that be an issue?

Are you trying to embed Flash into a winform? As far as I know (I could
be wrong), WMODE is for browsers.

Ach, that's frustrating.

Unfortnately, I've never embedded Flash into a winform. I'm afraid I
have no experience with your issue.

The best solution I have found so far is using http://www.f-in-box.com/
I haven't gotten to try it yet but one of the selling points is full
transparency support. The company makes a virtual file wrapper that I
love using called BoxedApp so I assume this works great as well.
