What the difference between Flash Player and Shockwave Player????

Flash make Shockwave file but why said "Flash Player".... it's more cool to
ask for
Flash is a vector Program... download "Shockwave Player" .....


but WHAT Is Shockwave????? what is really Shockwave?? like we call director
"shockwave" and flash "shockwave" both program.... A third program doesnt
exist yet for shockwave??
