converting Fireworks to ai or eps file

Fireworks (MX or any previous version) is not really designed to work as a
print-imaging package. That said, if your artwork is completely vector
based, you DO have the option of exporting the file in Illustrator 7 format,
from FWMX. Just go to FILE>EXPORT, and in the SAVE AS TYPE dropdown, you can
select Illustrator 7. I am not sure how well the export will go, as I do not
use Illustrator.

I make a point of stating that the artwork should be in vector format
because this will allow the file to be scaled without any image degradation.
If you have any bitmap elements in the logo, you may end up with unwanted
results.
