How do I erase Images in a straight line?

Here's the deal... I draw a circle... Convert to a image... When I try
to erase a portion of it... the eraser can no longer erase in a straight
line... Why??

Daniel,

The eraser is a freehand tool and thus will go wherever you move the mouse.
However, if you wish to "constrain" it to a straight line while moving the
mouse, then simply hold down the SHIFT key.

Use one of the selection tools, like the rectangle marquee or polygon lasso
in a situation like this. Just select the section and delete.

Holding the shift key down I'm able to erase in a straight line just fine
after a convert to image. Thought you should know.
