hi, i was wondering if there was a code or freeware program that I could use to set up a photo album on my web page that actually flips the page when you click on it.

yup. like a book. I've seen a few. but it's not what i was looking for. so, if anyone knows of a program or just a code then I could just try to make it myself.

HTML doesn't do that. It's probably a Java applet. Most experienced
developers only use Java applets when they have no other choice. They are
large and notoriously flaky cross-browser/platform.

You could use Flash or JavaScript to do things such as that...

I have not seen a js for flipping a page, but I'll bet that the overhead is
steep.

There is a flash technique in "50 Fast Flash MX Techniques" by Ellen Finkelstein ISBN 0764536923. It mocks a page turn.

I noticed that the freeware Codebox can turn ordinary PDF files to page flipping style, but the free service doesn't support images.

You can download the free trial version of Kvisoft FlipBook Maker Pro for such use: http://www.kvisoft.com/flipbook-maker-pro/

I have no idea about script and codes. I checked the flipping page in search engines, and found the one suggested by zmc really works. And I've recently bought its mac flipping page tool. You can learn more about it at: http://www.kvisoft.com/flipbook-maker-mac/
