Ok, i have a side frame that performs a filter on a recordset and goes to a
page in the main frame. now, all of a sudden - i dont remember why, i
started getting this error in my side frame, saying the usual blurb for
error 800a0cc1 i.e ADODB.Fields error ADO couldn't find the object... etc
now, all i am using for the search is graphics, and when a graphic is
clicked it filters the recordset by changing the text in a hidden field and
then the hidden field passes on an SQL parameter.
now, i think it may have all worked well for a few mintues but died for some
reason, and spent the last hour trying to work out why. i pulled it apart,
made it again etc, and found that the error came as soon as i added the
hidden form element....i dont think there is any way round this without
using a form element, so i am stuck. unless i could use url parameters but i
am not 100% sure how they work. i want to filter the sql parameter called
whichArea in Companies.Area and then only display Companies.category

i have probably not made myself very clear! i know what i am going on about,
but it has been a long day! ;-)
