Director MX flame - What is Macromedia doing ?

I have never seen a major product launch like Director MX with no BOOK
support. I see dozens of Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX books ... but I see
absolutely ZERO Director MX books. It's been 3.5 months since the release
of Director MX.

Can someone explain this ? Doesn't Macromedia work with authors,
publishers, etc to co-release their product with at least a couple of solid
reference books (oustide of the user manuals).

I've been asking the same question since Adobe acquired Macromedia. Found no plausible explanation??
