cannot launch contribute 3

recently installed a new pc and on my previous pc using windows xp my
contribute 3 programme worked with no problems ..the new pc runs windows vista
i can get the disc installed but when i try and launch it nothing happens has
anyone experienced this and if so i would appreciate your help i have installed
and removed a couple of times but to no avail

Contribute version 3.11 is not supported in Windows Vista.
Please install Contribute CS3 or Later version.
