Getting astronomical seasons from date

Want to take today's date and determine what season it's in. Sounds simple on
the surface but after some research, it looks quite involved because the
seasons are based on the lunar (chinese) calendar. If someone knows how to
figure out the solar term for a date, then I can get to the season from there.

not exactly sure what you want (which i guess makes me confused in bangkok) but
we have a

get the CFC from the devnet gallery). also have a very experimental
astronomical calendar as well as an experimental "holiday". just not sure what
you need.
