Since MX 6.1 (w2k and access db) I get following error when have a some traffic on the server.

[Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver]TCP/IP error, connection refused.

This can happen with a total simple query...

If I look in the event viewer I see following error with Event No 7031:

The ColdFusion MX ODBC Server service terminated unexpectedly.
It has done this 15 time(s).
The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds:
Restart the service

After 60 seconds the server will response again.

But the real UGLY thing is, that this happens on my development server where no traffic exists!
I can reproduce this error when I quickly klick on diffrent links of a cf-application (needs sometimes only 3-12 mouse-klicks).

So I'm still far away to change my Online-Servers to MX

Any Idea what I'm doing wrong

Thanks

I was manipulating some of the settings and noticed that I don't get error on my development server,
if I check the option "Maintain Connections" to on. After this I can't reproduce this error anymore.

Ofcourse I didn't try with a stress-tool, but at least the Service doesn't goes down only because 1 user klicks around fast on some href's.

Why did this happen?
Since I had many problems with MX 6.0, I made a total new installation and I had to reconfigure all ODBC Sources.
And I forgot it on this datasource.

Hopefully this is the solution.

Sure I know, Access isn't really the DB for Application... but for small applications and fast development Access is perfect.
