Using AW 5.2...I have one 3-minute .wav file that is supposed to match graphics throughout the piece. My timing before packaging is fine, however after packaging there is a visual delay right from the get go, throwing the whole piece into a tailspin.
I have it set to run “concurrent”.

My audio file is as follows:
14.4 meg
16bit. Mono
PCM, 44,100 Hz

My graphics are mostly dissolving in & out and moving a little bit.
They are .jpg(s) and some .psd(s)

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeffrey,
You are talking about synchornizing. You can use the SyncPoint and SyncWait
functions.
Look at the A/V Synchronization ShowMe.

Can you adapt your code to allow for the initial delay as things 'get up
to speed'?
You could try to reduce the datarate of your sound files. I usually find
little difference between 22Hz and 44Hz. Definitely leave them at 16bit
though.
Can you convert your images to plain old .bmp's? .JPG's are likely a bit
more processor intensive than .BMP's, and .PSD's certainly so.
If you can reduce the amount of processing power required for your
media, you may be able to negate the delay. OTOH, the delay could be due
to CD spin-up, which you can't do too much about, but anticipate that
delay in your code?
