hi,
When i send parameters (private to the piece) using the lms send data icon
could i see them in the html variable, what i mean is there a special place
that i should see them according to scorm standard , or they might be embeded.

rashoush,

What do you mean "parameters (private to the piece)"? Are you talking
attached to the URL or are the vendor data or lesson or resume data?

Regards,

Andrew

rashoush,

So am I. Send Data - select all of your variables. Initialize KO - enter
"=strLMSTemp" for the Lesson Data variable (make sure it isn't included in
the variables you are sending).

I have a quick question about the several variables with the "str" affix
mentioned in the post above as well as in the LMS article posted on the MM
website
(http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/authorware/articles/compliant_files_06.html).
Are those "system" variables that AW recognizes/parses natively? Is that why
those specific names are recommended (e.g., "strLMSLocation", "strLMSStatus",
"strLMSTime", etc.). I also noticed that one of them has a different affix
(i.e., "int" as in "intLMSScore"). In other words, can we choose any variable
names for the KO fields? Is there any specific need/advantage to keep to the
"str" names?

Thanks,

Roberto
