MCREST --Temporary PAUSE of Men's Shelter Program

Good afternoon, 

I hope this message finds you well.

I’m reaching out to inform you that MCREST will be temporarily pausing our men’s shelter program on July 20, 2025 as we begin renovations to improve and expand our services. This decision was made by our Board of Directors and reflects our commitment to providing a more sustainable and supportive environment for the men we serve.

We are working diligently to complete the necessary updates as quickly and efficiently as possible. During this time, we remain committed to supporting our community and will continue to collaborate with our partners to ensure continuity of care wherever possible.

We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership as we work toward a stronger future for our shelter program. If you have any questions or would like to discuss how we can continue to support one another during this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Last, but not least, this pause does not affect our women's and children's shelter, so please continue to refer women and families to call us at 586-415-5101 for bed availability.
