On Saturday June 29th, Disability Attorneys of Michigan and The 313 Project will be partnering to host a ‘Social Security and Veterans Disability and Wellness Clinic’ providing a variety of FREE services to people with disabilities, both veterans and civilians (adults and children). The event will be from 9am – 1pm at Jesus Tabernacle of Deliverance Ministries, 2nd floor, in Detroit.
Free Services include:
1.) Legal consultations in the areas of Social Security Disability, SSI, and Veterans Disability benefits
2.) DHS benefits information
3.) Health screenings
4.) Brunch and fresh fruit juice station
5.) Packets filled with community resources
6.) Yoga/meditation and self-defense workshops
7.) Cosmetology services
8.) Massage therapy
9.) Kids’ corner with craft activities, and more
We want to make this event a huge success with a great community turnout. Please share this information with your contacts, and anyone you think that might benefit from these free services. If you know someone thinking about applying for disability benefits, let them know about this event so they can come and speak with one of our experienced attorneys. The flier with the details is attached. Please let me know if you would like to send information to be passed out or set-up a booth at the event.
