HELP US KEEP HELPING OTHERS

Kiwanis Club of Shelby Township – Golden K

Hello,

You may have connected with the Kiwanis Club of Shelby Township – Golden K sometime in the past. Perhaps we were able to help you, a loved one, or someone you know.

Since 2015, our mission has been simple: provide medical and mobility equipment to people in need — completely free of charge. No insurance requirements. No rental fees. No time limits.

Through the generosity of our community, we provide wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, shower chairs, commodes, ramps, Hoyer lifts, power chairs, medical supplies, and much more. While veterans and seniors are a special focus, we help anyone in need.

Now, we could use a little help ourselves.

Over the years, we have lost several valued members and volunteers, while others now have physical or health limitations of their own. Meanwhile, the need for our services continues to grow.

We are looking for new volunteers and members to help us carry this mission forward.

You don’t need to make a major commitment. A few hours a month helping organize equipment, greet families, assist with paperwork, community outreach, fundraising, or occasional equipment pickups can make a real difference.

Perhaps we were there when you needed us. Now you can help us be there for the next person who needs us.

Interested in volunteering, becoming a member, or simply learning more?

Call or text Rich Morian at 248-821-1496.

A few hours of your time can make a lifetime of difference.

I posted your email around our senior building, I hope you find some volunteers as youve been great help to our community. I also wanted to share this flyer with you and see if maybe it might be worth joining this volunteer fair?
