Hi everyone,
I am writing to share a free professional development opportunity with you.
As a member of the Advisory Board for the Neuroscience Literacy in Mental Health Project, I am honored to invite you to participate in a free, virtual professional development series designed specifically for social workers and mental health professionals. This series focuses on integrating neuroscience with mental health practice in ways that are practical, meaningful, and immediately applicable to clinical work.
This initiative is led by Marshall University’s Neuroscience Literacy in Mental Health Project and is supported by a two-year grant from the Dana Foundation. The goal is to bridge brain science with everyday therapeutic interventions, helping practitioners better understand how stress, trauma, and resilience influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
The Neuroliteracy team is offering both free monthly learning sessions and access to a Community of Practice, supporting ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
This is a moment to step forward to deepening your understanding of neuroscience and I am excited to be on this journey with you.
