Hi Team,

Please share with your communities.  Flyer attached.

This #BlackHistoryMonth, join us for a national presentation of L.E.T.S. (Listening, Empathy, Trust, Support) Save Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention for Black and African American Communities through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 6–7:30 p.m. via Zoom
L.E.T.S. Save Lives is a presentation created by and for Black and African American people to help reduce cultural stigma, foster conversations about mental health, and raise awareness of #suicideprevention. The program is grounded in research and delivered by trained presenters from Black and African American communities.
Participants will:
• Learn the scope of suicide among the Black and African American population
• Understand the racial and systemic factors that impact suicide among Black and African American people
• Identify suicide risk and protective factors for Black and African American communities
• Recognize warning signs of suicide
• Gain confidence in talking to someone in suicidal distress
• Learn how to connect someone with help
We hope you attend this important event, and join us in continuing to honor Black History Month. Register today and share the event with your communities!

Thanks!

MJ
