Program Julia Albarracin with share a brief overview of her work with immigrants and Dreamers in the area but her primary focus will be on pragmatic ways we can support the men, women, and children who need support now because of their immigration status and current government policies. Julia, an attorney and WIU professor of political science was one of the women honored at our Writing Women into History reception this year.
Treasurer & Membership Reports (Becky Parker) Because of the increased cost of our WWIH receptions, Becky will open a discussion of the state of our budget, anticipated costs, changing resources, and how we move forward while staying financially solvent.

Bylaws Review The Bylaws were approved in 2003 and have not, according to our records, been revisited and updated since then. The Board is in the process of reviewing them; if you are interested in reading and discussing them, visit the Macomb Feminists Network website.
Website Update Given the changes in practice we’ve adopted as we’ve evolved as an organization, this seems an appropriate time to make sure our website reflects these. Amelia Hartnett has been covering the annual costs associated with the website.
