A Parents View

This being our last year at the high school level let me tell you this was an exciting year of the four years that we participated by watching and cheering. From the Duel meets; to the Invitational’s; to the County; to the MISCA; and the MAC and the Catholic meet and the State meet.

It was always great to see an exhibition at the meets this allowed all swimmers to give their best at trying. How many other sports allow their players to compete during a main event?

To all of the swimmers, coaches, volunteers and parents and family members you need to be congratulated on all your efforts from a sport that sometimes does not get much recognition.

To the coaches and schools who created swimming programs during the off season this allowed the boys to meet one another and become friends before the season competition?  

Thank goodness for all those local newspapers that did put time into the boys and the sport.

And I would like to thank all those who took the time to set up the web sites for swimming and diving.

This opportunity has allowed our sons to want to compete at a college level this was a stepping stone to their college challenge. Swimming does open a lot of doors.
