You'll empower our all-volunteer crews with the testing gear, boat time and lab time necessary to detect and reduce the leakage of existing legacy wastes into the bay, and to protect the juvenile fishes, baby lobsters and other wild inhabitants of our bay's inshore shallows from the scourge of coastal sprawl and its inevitable side effects: water pollution and habitat degradation.
Donate 1 dollar, or add as many zeros behind that single digit as you like! But be generous, for sprawl can be as swift and unstoppable as an incoming tide unless we head it off. And THAT requires the efforts of citizen naturalists and citizen scientists with access to the tools needed to both document the present situation and lay open the past pollution challenges of the towns around and within Penobscot Bay.
