I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what the CY,beta CI,beta and CN,beta derivatives stand for. Are they control or stability derivatives? Does Beta stand for the slidslip angle?

-thanks

Hi,

Beta is sideslip. Those are stability derivatives with respect to sideslip.
CY = side force coefficient
Cl = rolling moment coefficient
Cn = yawing moment coefficient
