Question from one of our users:
How accurate is the STL file created in MachUp?
I have plot points for the root and tip using airfoil data tools and we wanted to create a model using Solidworks however with taper, twist, sweep etc it can prove to be a challenge.

Yes – the STL files are very accurate. The web version is limited to NACA 4-digit airfoils. But the downloadable version of MachUp can handle any airfoil because the user puts in the airfoil data points.
The STL files are really high quality.
